Gefco Austria: Thomas Ziegler to leave the bridge

Thomas Ziegler and Gefco Austria to separate by mutual agreement; Pierre-Jean Lorrain to become the interim managing director

Thomas Ziegler, managing director Gefco Austria, is to leave the company by his own request and by mutual agreement, effective March 31, 2014. From April 1, Pierre-Jean Lorrain, responsible for the region Germany, Central-Europe, Balkans and Middle East, will take over the position of the managing director in Austria on a interim basis.

Gefco is the European market leader in the segment of automotive logistics and covers all logistic segments from worldwide procurement of production parts to distribution of finished vehicles. The all-round logistician offers also first-hand full range logistics. Customised multi-modal-solutions, inbound, sequencing, empty return, storage, management and control are included in the portfolio. The Austrian organisation has about 70 employees at six locations.
