Gefco delivers Mazda spare parts via Klagenfurt to Turkey

Gefco forwards Mazda spare parts and car accessories via Carinthia to 32 Turkish partner companies as of now

With immediate effect Gefco supplies with spare parts and accessories via the warehouse in Klagenfurt also the 32 partners of Mazda in Turkey. This increases by EUR 300,000 the value of the 7,000 m² depot of the Japanese automotive manufacturer in Carinthia’s capital.

The goods from Japan arrive via sea freight in the Port of Trieste, then are forwarded on the railway to the central warehouse in Klagenfurt. About 165 containers are moved per year like that. On behalf of the automotive manufacturer Gefco handles up to one and a half truck loads to Turkey per week. About 340 truck loads of spare parts that have to be urgently available, are transhipped via the Europe-depot in Belgium as before.

“Due to customs procedures deliveries to Turkey take a little longer. However, ordered spare parts arrive at the most remote Turkish retailer within four days at latest“, points out Robert Böck, Director Customer Service Mazda Austria. “In our partner Gefco we found an absolute logistics specialist with whom to cooperate in Turkey.!
