Gefco picks VisionDrive for single vehicle movements

Gefco has chosen Lincoln-based VisionDrive as prime partner for its single vehicle movement contracts.

VisionDrive was founded in August 2016 by Ian Smith and Jack Davies to specialise in vehicle movements. It currently makes more than 300 movements a month.

Deborah Young, service delivery manager at Gefco, said: “We have chosen VisionDrive as prime partners for our single vehicle movement contracts to support our continued growth.

“VisionDrive’s use of digital technology and innovative delivery systems will enable us to effectively track movements and ensure efficiency.”

VisionDrive’s Ian Smith said: “Our aim is to always make things easier for those who use our bespoke service. Our ability to be flexible and reactive to customers’ needs is what we hope will allow us to become an integral part of Gefco’s daily business.”

American Airlines Cargo cuts plastic waste with biodegradable packaging
