Gefco Slovakia supports Fiat in vehicle distribution
The logistics service provider Gefco has recently been put in charge of the distribution of new Fiat vehicles in Slovakia:
The vehicle logistics division of the globally active Gefco Group has a new customer. Since 1 September the Slovakian subsidiary has been the official transport service provider of the Fiat Group in Slovakia. The annual volume amounts to about 3.400 vehicles. The tender for the distribution of the vehicle brands Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Jeep in the Czech Republic and Slovakia was won with the support of several Gefco subsidiaries which took part in the project.
Ex the distribution centre Tychy in Poland, Gefco Slovakia supplies 25 national sales sites. According to the company, an optimised utilisation of the vehicle transporters and compliance with the agreed delivery time of five days starting with the placement of the order is guaranteed through the cooperation with the Polish and the Baltic national subsidiaries.
