General rate increase with MSC
Because of the growing demand for container shipping capacities from Europe to destination ports in the Middle and Far East, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company increases the rates. The new prices will become valid as from March 1, 2009. This concerns all consignments with loading ports in North West Europe, in the Baltic States and in Scandinavia. MSC will increase rates on the above named routes by USD 50 for 20’-containers and USD 100 for 40’-containers. Fees for reefer shipments will rise USD 250 for 20’-boxes and USD 500 for 40’-boxes.
