Geodis and Nova Holding form joint venture

 
Geodis Logistics and Nova Natie join forces at Port of Antwerp

Geodis Logistics, the logistics division of the French Geodis Group, and the Belgian Nova Holding will join their forces to provide logistics services in the Port of Antwerp. Only recently a joint venture was established that acts under the name Geodis Nova Logistics and specializes in added-value logistics services that it provides for customers from the consumer products, textile and high-tech sectors. The service range of this joint venture will aim at providing services directly in the fields of goods reception control, labelling, assembling, postponement, packaging and co-packing at the location in the Port of Antwerp.

Nova Holding is the family-owned umbrella company of the Nova Natie Group. The group operates at the locations Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam in the fields of logistics, warehousing and freight forwarding. 800 employees generated a turnover amounting to EUR 125 million last year. Nova Natie operates nearly 250,000 square metres of warehouses in Antwerp. Geodis in turn has 170 warehouses with 2 million square metres storage space in Europe.
