Saudi Airlines Cargo starts operating from Vienna

As of 25 March 2012, the company Saudi Airlines Cargo will operate freighter flights from Vienna to Saudi Arabia, with connections to Hong Kong and the Far East

A new provider of air freight liner services started operating at the Vienna International Airport. As of now Saudi Airlines Cargo operates two flights per week from Austria. The routing goes to Saudi Arabia, where direct connections are available to Hong Kong and several destinations in the Far East. The flights will be operated with MD11Fs providing 90 tons of air cargo capacity.

Saudi Airlines Cargo considers Vienna as a hub to serve the growth air freight markets of Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to Austria’s capital, the company’s B-747 freighters operate four direct flights per week to Frankfurt am Main as of 25 March 2012. The Further stations covered by the airline’s cargo network in Europe are Brussels, Amsterdam and Milan.
