Start on June 1, 2013: Consulting specialist GOMULTIMODAL GmbH to put focus on combined transport and intermodal transport concepts
With the slogan “Think Multimodal – GOMULTIMODAL“ the GOMULTIMODAL GmbH is to be launched on June 1, 2013. The associates Gerhard Oswald (61) and Wolfgang Osond (52) mean two experienced experts, who are recognised in the market for the new consulting enterprise based in Hamburg. GOMULTIMODAL will be dealing with all issues associated with combined transport and intermodal transport concepts.
Gerhard Oswald will be managing director of TFG Transfracht until May 31, 2013. In this company he has been gaining management experience in all segments of multimodal transport (rail/road/waterway) for more than 30 years. He has been in charge of conception and market launch of the Albatros Express, Europe’s still biggest sea port hinterland network for intermodal road/rail transport. Since 2012 he is holding the position of the Chairman of the advisory board of the research association for multimodal transport (SGKV).
Wolfgang Osond has 35 years of experience in maritime supply chain and multimodal transport; 25 years thereof in management positions with several logistics companies in Austria. Since January 2009 he has been sole associate and Head of LOGconsulting, Henndorf (Austria), with a focus on logistics consulting, staff agency and human resources development. LOGconsulting will be a partner of GOMULTIMODAL.
The portfolio of GOMULTIMODAL addresses port operators, quay, terminal and transhipment companies, shippers, forwarders, carriers, operators, railway and river shipping enterprises, trade and industry companies as well as political institutes, associations and public facilities with issues related to shifting road transport and optimising existing intermodal transport, with a special focus on shifting pure road transport and expanding national and international transport solutions.
