GLS Austria: New web portal to boost appearance on the internet

GLS Austria takes account of growing online trade with newly designed navigation field “Service for recipients” on the web portal

The parcel delivery company GLS Austria has launched a new web portal with improved handling and revised functions for users. The new navigation structure gives users a quick overview of the company and services offered. The website is divided into the three segments: The company, Shipping solutions and Service for recipients. “Our new website is targeted to the needs of senders and recipients. It serves as portal for communication and gives an overview on the offer“, says Klaus Schädle, Managing Director Europe South GLS.

The newly designed navigation field “Service for recipients“ provides particularly private persons with information about the parcel delivery. Here customers can find e.g. parcel tracking, ParcelShop collection and returns. “Online trade is growing continuously. An increasing number of parcels is sent to private households“, says Klaus Schädle. “Thus the new field for recipients is an important step towards more transparency and service for our customers’ customers.“
