Gernot Fischbach founds a logistics expert centre in Graz

SVZL Consulting eU. (Graz) sees itself as a specialist for consulting in logistic issues, logistic damage assessment and transport safety

In early 2015 the Sachverständigenzentrum Logistik (SVZL Consulting eU.), a logistics expert centre, based in Graz was formed on the basis of the assessment activities. Since mid 2012 Gernot Fischbach has been active as an expert in the segment of forwarding and transport damages. He brings more than 20 years of experience in forwarding and transport logistics into these operations.

The service range includes transport damage assessment, damage processing and issuing expert opinions, as well as comprehensive options for preventive measures regarding transport safety. These ensure for shippers, forwarders and carriers that eventualities are checked and recorded, and valuable goods are in good hands with the selected carrier and transport mean.

They are also working intensively to find ways to minimize and avoid crime during storage, loading and transportation „to be able to quickly react to cases, and on the other hand to be able to make extensive scanning of the selected carrier in advance and within a short time,“ said Gernot Fischbach. A central database records cases that occurred in Europe and warnings, which are compared and edited together with international agencies, private investigators and government agencies.

Gernot Fischbach is a graduate of the European Logistics Association (ELA/EMlog) of the Danube University in Krems („Logistics and Supply Chain Management“). He works as an expert at the arbitration court Deutsches Schiedsgericht Logistik eV., as well as a lecturer at various institutions and schools – among them the vocational school for freight forwarders and logisticians in Mitterdorf, Mürztal.
