World Courier sets step of expansion in Europe
Takeover of SMS Temp Critical brings World Courier new impetus in European transport
Taking over a company the worldwide active provider of special courier services World Courier reinforces its commitment in the segment of “European Ground Services“. Buying the SMS Temp Critical company with its headquarters in Hythe, Kent (United Kingdom), the enterprise adds a specialist for temperature-controlled distribution and for road transport of pharmaceutical, biotechnological and healthcare products to its network. Under the name World Courier Ground (Europe) Ltd. the enterprise will offer solutions for the transport and distribution of goods in the temperature zones minus 20 degree Celsius, 2 to 8 degree Celsius and 15 to 25 degree Celsius (ambient). World Courier with its headquarters in Stamford in the US-state of Connecticut is by its own account the world’s leading provider of special courier services. The enterprise employs around 2,500 persons in more than 140 own offices in 50 countries and eleven large logistics centres for pharmaceutical products.
