Greiwing starts building new logistics centre in Leipheim

Greiwing groupconstructs two logistics halls and a tower silo at its location in Leipheim, Bavaria:

Greiwinglogistics for you GmbH continues to grow. On 14 December the first turn of sod was made for a new logistics centre in Leipheim near Ulm. To enhance its national presence the enterprise will erect two logistics halls for food and non food products, a tower silo, an office building, a repair station and a cleaning facility for silo trailers on a former air base. The investment totals EUR 10 million. About 80 jobs are thereby created.

„The construction start of the logistics centre in Leipheim is a signal of the expansion of our Transport and logistics services in southern Germany. In the first line regional enterprises from the plastic and food industry will profit thereof“, explains Klaus Beckonert, managing director Greiwing logistics for you GmbH. The facility in Leipheim was designed to handle bulk food substances and plastic granules as well as for storage and distribution.

Greiwing group based in Greven is an internationally operating specialist providing full range solutions for silo logistics. Their services are ranging from conventional and combined transport to storage and handling. In addition to bulk goods, rice, sugar, salt, cacao powder and other food is transported in special food silo trailers. The family enterprise has more than 470 employees at eight locations in Germany and generates about EUR 80 million.
