Grieshaber Logistics implements new logistics park close to Basels

Future logistics park Hochrhein of the Grieshaber Logistics Group to serve customers from the health care and industry solutions sector
 
On 11 September 2012 the Grieshaber Logistics Group AG made the first turn of the sod for its Hochrhein logistics park in Rheinfelden/Baden. Construction works are due to start on 24 September 2012; completion is scheduled for 17 May 2013. The object is ideally located at the German-Switzerland motorway border crossing, a few minutes east from Basels.
 
In the initial stage the planned logistics centre will provide 25,000 m² of logistics and handling area. Grieshaber Logistics Group AG will operate the facility on behalf of customers from the market sectors health care and industry solutions.
 
Thanks to a whole sale permit and a production authorisation according to the pharmaceutical legislation, which was filed for this location, several value added services such as packing and display assembly as well as secondary packaging and re-labelling will be offered there. At the same time conditions for temperature controlled logistics in the segments 15-25°C / 2-8°C and up to -20° will be available.
