Group CAT equips truck carriers with location devices
Since December 2010, Groupe CAT has equipped eighty truck carriers with a new geographical location device, enabling the entire European fleet directed from Bourg-en-Bresse to be located in real-time. The system enables CAT to identify and locate empty truck carriers in order to dispatch the nearest one in response to one-off pick-up requests. It also provides real-time information in terms of delivery times. Groupe CAT provides finished vehicle logistics and related value-added services, as well as a full cargo logistics service for spare parts, motorcycles and industrial products.
