Healthcare industry leaders share supply chain best practice at elite industry summit

Senior supply chain executives from Sanofi-Aventis, Baxter, Merck Serono, Kimberly Clark, GE Healthcare, Lonza, Sorin and other industry leaders will gather on November 2nd – 3rd in Brussels at the eyefortransport Healthcare & Life Sciences Supply Chain Summit to discuss a wide range of supply chain challenges facing pharma and medical devices companies, including security, supply chain complexity, supplier risk management and quality assurance.

The discussions come as many pharmaceutical and medical devices manufacturers are turning to the supply chain as a key business differentiator and profit driver in an increasingly challenging marketplace.

The discussions in Brussels – at the eyefortransport Healthcare & Life Sciences Supply Chain Summit – will address a wide range of challenges facing pharma and medical devices companies including security, supply chain complexity, supplier risk management, quality assurance and more.

Brian Watson, head of Global Supply Chain at Lonza, will present a case study on Lonza’s recent supply chain reorganisation, explaining how the company achieved key synergies in its supply chain by running some operations locally, and others globally.

A speciality bumper session will address supply chain security and quality assurance for healthcare & life sciences companies.  This will feature Sebastien Mauel, head of Product Security at Merck Serono, Thorstein Rossum, director of Security EMEA at GE Healthcare, and Alain Dommisse, Supply Chain manager at Solvay.

Senior supply chain executives from pharma, medical devices and healthcare companies can apply to join the event and participate in the discussions for free.  Qualified executives will receive full access to the discussions and related networking sessions, as well as hotel accommodation for one night.
