Honold Logistik takes over further outsourcing-project
A new business was added to the cooperation between the Honold Logistik Group and the tyre producer Continental. The transport and logistics service provider from Neu-Ulm recently opened a new location in Aachen. The 30,000 square meters hall facility directly adjacent to the production plant of the Continental AG will be used to render tyre logistic services. Honold Logistik is operating in 3 shifts in Aachen. The team counts 70 employees and takes over up to 28,000 tyres per day for warehousing and afterwards order-picking and dispatch preparation. The service portfolio comprises also special activities such as sorting and product labelling. The goods issuing department handles up to 45 trucks per day. Quelle: Österreichische Verkehrszeitung |
