Forwarding company Huncargo Spedition doubles storage capacity at their logistics location in Sopron (western Hungary)
The transformation of Huncargo Spedition Kft. from a pure haulier to a logistics service provider has gained a facet. A few days ago the private enterprise has opened a new 5,000 sq. m. warehouse in the periphery of the west Hungarian city Sopron. The facility is situated in the immediate vicinity of the previously operated building complex that offers 4,000 sq. m. covered space and 5,500 pallet slots. The total investment for the new building amounted to EUR 2 million. Huncargo Spedition was established in 1990 and generated a turnover of around EUR 18 million with 200 employees last year. Their core business is full and less-than-full load transport from and to Austria, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands as well as activities in the field of warehousing logistics. With more than 200 trailer trucks (incl. sub freighters) they transported 22,000 loads on behalf of customers such as Audi, Doka, Electrolux, Heineken Hungaria, Kronospan, Smurfit Kappa Nettingsdorfer and voestalpine in 2009.
