Inauguration of Schenker’s terminal in Salzburg
| DB Schenker’s forwarding terminal in Salzburg-Bergheim will be presented to the public fort he first time Today a new chapter of Austrian forwarding history will start in Salzburg-Bergheim. In the presence of numerous prominent politicians Schenker & CO AG celebrates the official opening of their new freight forwarding terminal. The facility marks the most modern location within the European network of DB Schenker. DB Schenker has invested around EUR 26 million into the new building. Since recently the terminal operates on full capacity. It is divided into a 10,000 sq. m. throughput hall with 115 gates and a logistics warehouse of 4,500 sq. m. covered area. The track connection is to start operation in summer. The freight forwarding terminal is located at the main route of the Salzburger Lokalbahn. Quelle: LogEastics |
