NYK Line enters Austrian market with own name

New NYK Line office in Vienna headed by Gertrud Taylor to market container liner services in Austria from  August 1, 2013
 
The Japanese shipping group NYK Line is to open an office in Vienna on August 1, 2013. The new location is to succeed the Schenker shipping agency in Vienna, and will be in charge of sales of liner services and coordination of sales and export bookings for containers, the enterprise informs in a press release. More tasks as well as roro shipments are handled by the NYK office in Hamburg.
 
"Our goal is to increase and expand the presence of NYK in the Austrian market. We are looking forward to support our customers from the new office and control our sales and booking of activities from here," says Klaus-Peter Barth, Managing Director of NYK Line (Germany) GmbH. The NYK team in Vienna is headed by Gertrud Taylor. She has many years of experience in the shipping industry with MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company Austria and Maersk Line.
