Inauguration of Schneckenreither’s logistics park “all wels“
Multifunctional logistics park “all wels“ of the Schneckenreither group strengthens the economy in Upper Austria’s central region
In the presence of many customers and business partners the Schneckenreither group has opened the logistics park „all wels“ on November 8. The new building expands the company’s commitment in warehousing business in the segments of deep freeze and pharmaceutical logistics. The construction of the facility and the site in Wels was implemented through a total investment of EUR 20 million. This is the biggest single project in the company’s history.
The new building with 15,000 m² covered storage area has four halls providing space for 23,500 pallets. More than 10,000 pallet slots are designed as deep freeze and fresh goods warehouse, and zone for temperature controlled cargo, respectively. The range of standard services covers operations in the segments of storage/picking and value added services such as equipment, price labelling or set forming including all up- and downstream transport and distribution services. Value added services are carried out by the partner company Packservice.
The Schneckenreither forwarding company is a medium-sized provider of transport and logistics services focussed on the segments land transport (national/international) and warehousing logistics. Established in 1970 the company runs 13 locations in Austria and three locations abroad, and from October 75,000 m² covered warehouse area. The Schneckenreither corporate group covers several forwarding and transport companies, with a total of about 430 employees and an own fleet of 160 trucks and about 100 swap bodies. For the 2013 financial year the enterprise aims at achieving a group turnover of EUR 110 million.
