Insolvency of DBM Internationale Transporte GmbH (Hörsching)

Price collapse in the transport industry forces DBM Internationale Transporte GmbH into bankruptcy; insolvency affects 14 employees

At the start of this week bankruptcy proceedings were opened at the regional court Landesgericht Linz about the assets and liabilities of DBM Internationale Transporte GmbH with headquarters in Hörsching. The indebted company is operating in the segment of cargo transport with trucks. They had a fleet of 13 vehicles and employed 14 persons lately.

As a reason for the insolvency the management named the collapse of prices in the transport industry. There have been additional claims from creditors. “Liabilities of DBM Internationale Transporte GmbH amount to about EUR 1.060 million. Assets at the nominal amount of EUR 243,000 include cash and receivables“, informs the Austrian association for the protection of creditors AKV.

The court has appointed lawyer Mag. Dr. Johannes M. Mühllechner from Linz as insolvency administrator. Creditors may submit their claims before January 8, 2014. The hearing is scheduled for January 20, 2014.
