JCL Logistics acquires more Logwin Road + Rail locations

Logwin disposes of Road + Rail activities in Vorarlberg, Switzerland, Hungary and Southern Europe

Logwin AG pushes the streamlining of its Road + Rail segment. After the organisation in the Netherlands, JCL Logistics, headquartered in Werndorf, Austria, takes over the land transport activities in Vorarlberg (Austria), Switzerland and Hungary. The corresponding contract was signed on 26 February. The transaction is subject to cartel clearance by the competent authorities.

The transaction includes the branches of Logwin Road + Rail Austria GmbH in Wolfurt, Feldkirch-Tosters and Krems/Danube with an office in Bremen and the border office Feldkirch-Tisis, of Logwin Road + Rail Switzerland with its headquarters in Thayngen and Logwin Road + Rail Hungary, based in Budapest, and includes as well all aligning branches and logistics locations.

The sold Road + Rail stations with around 550 employees offer services in the fields of European land transport (general cargo, part and full load transport), warehousing and value added services. They generate a total turnover of around EUR 170 million per year and are based on the activities of the former Delacher Logistics Group, which was acquired by Logwin AG in the year 2000.

In addition, a Swiss JCL Logistics subsidiary acquired Logwin Road + Rail activities in France, with its headquarters in Scionzier, as well as subsidiaries in Italy and Spain, with around 100 employees. The shares were transferred in the line of the signage of the contract on 26 February.
