JCL Logistics becomes active in sports sponsoring

Symbiosis of business and sports: Amercian Football Club Graz Giants wins JCL Logistics as main sponsor:

JCL Logistics becomes a main sponsor of American Football Club Graz Giants. The club, which was national champion ten times, is now called „JCL Giants“ with immediate effect. This cooperation for a period of several years shall promote American Football in Austria and support the sportsmen.

What both, the logistics service provider and the sports team, have in common is a high commitment, a continuous striving for progress, quickness, strategy and tactics. Angelo Barsuglia, CEO of JCL Giants: „This cooperation will enable us to gain even more success on national and international level, and act as the organiser of a Euro-Bowl semi finales as well.“ So far the „Giants“ had to play away three times in the semi finals (Tyrol, Paris, Berlin), because the Eggenberger Stadion was not suited for a Euro-Bowl game.

Moreover they are planning activities in the charity segment: The JCL Giants will match with a reputable professional team at a charity bowl. Returns will be donated to a charity organisation. Graz Giants are 4th in the European ranking and thus an absolute international top team. JCL Logistics is also providing top performance in many countries around the world every day. So I am convinced about this partnership being a good symbiosis of business and sports.“ The Graz Giants club was formed in 1981 and is the oldest existing, and having won the national championship ten times, also Austria’s most successful American Football Club. When they participated in the Euro Bowl, the „Champions League“ of European Football, for the first time, the club reached the semi finals. In the very same year the blue-yellow club won the Austrian championship, and was ranked first in Europe one year after that.
