JCL Logistics opens 16,000 m² distribution centre in ’s-Heerenberg

JCL Logistics Benelux B.V. (NL) takes over warehousing in Europe for the Taiwanese bicycle Manufacturer Giant
 
JCL Logistics Benelux B.V. in ’s-Heerenberg, (NL), opens a new 16,000m² distribution centre for the European distribution of the Taiwanese bicycle manufacturer, Giant. The present contract covers a period of 8 years and includes the storage of parts, accessories and bicycles. Expectations are that each year 300,000 bicycles will be distributed through this warehouse. Besides realising this state-of-the-art warehouse, large investments were made in automated storage / pick & pack systems. JCL has adjusted to the cyclic nature of bicycle sales and has organised its services in a flexible manner. The bicycle manufacturer Giant counts among the world’s leading enterprises of its kind.
