Jerich International pushes sustainability

Styrian transport logistics group Jerich International to enter a „green“ future with 45 new Mercedes-Benz Actros with Euro 6-engines

On 31 January the new Mercedes-Benz 1845 LS trucks were officially delivered to the company premises of Jerich International in Pirching. With the new Euro 6 technology vehicles, considerably minimizing the Co2 Footprint, the enterprise is taking one further step into the direction for a greener future.

In its 46th year of existence, Jerich International with headquarters in Gleisdorf (Styria), is an international concept forwarder, providing about 70 per cent of its business volume to customers from the forestry products sector. Including services for customers from the automotive, steel, consumer goods and beverages industries, their 675 employees generated sales of about EUR 200 million in 2014. The family-run enterprise is present in eight European countries, as well as in Canada and the US.
