Jöbstl Gesellschaft m.b.H. appoints new managing director

Horst Türk assumes the function of the operative managing director next to Mag. (FH) Kurt Jürgen Jöbstl effective now

After the decease of their longstanding managing director KoR Kurt Jöbstl, the Jöbstl forwarding company has reorganised its management structure. „It had been necessary to reorganise the company and adjust the structures within the enterprise to the challenged of the coming years“, says Mag. (FH) Kurt Jürgen Jöbstl. Christoph Jöbstl will therefore retire from his position as managing director at Jöbstl Gesellschaft m.b.H., and devote himself to subsidiaries abroad and the business development of the group. Horst Türk will become the second managing director next to Mag. (FH) Kurt Jürgen Jöbstl.

The former „DHL-man“ Horst Türk has been working for the company since 2003. In the past years he had been establishing and controlling the Jöbstl-branch in Fürnitz. He will keep his function as head of the branch in Carinthia despite his new vocation.

„We will sustainably develop the organisational culture and continue to sue our goals consequently. Our future orientation is about development of the sites, increasing competitiveness, establishing and expanding strategic business segments“, Horst Türk describes the focus of his new activity area.

The internationally operating Jöbstl group has its headquarters in Wundschuh, southern Styria, and operates seven more banches in Spielfeld, Vienna, Pichl near Wels, Fürnitz and in Ljubljana (SI), Budapest-Gyál (HU) and Sibiu (RO). With 250 employees the forwarding group moves about 150,000 shipments per year. They offer a wide range of transport and logistics services from one source, based on 45,000 m² warehousing area.
