Deutsche Post World Net Group searching for new CFO

A personnel change is going to take place on the top-management level of the Deutsche Post AG. John Allan has decided to resign from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the globally acting enterprise as of June 30th, 2009. The Manager retires from work at his own volition. Afterwards he will continue to serve as a senior advisor to Chief Executive Officer Dr. Frank Appel. The Supervisory Board will name a successor to the chief financial officer in due course.

John Allan joined the company in 2005, following the Deutsche Post’s acquisition of the British logistics enterprise Exel plc.. Before starting his current role in October 2007, he was Management Board Member in charge of the former corporate division Logistics comprising DHL Exel Supply Chain, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight.
