Jungheinrich Austria renews contract with TNT Innight
TNT Innight continues to manage After Sales Logistics in Austria on behalf of the producer of fork lifts Jungheinrich
Jungheinrich Austria, provider of solutions in the segments of industrial trucks, warehouse and material flow technology, has renewed its contract with TNT Innight in the field of After Sales Service. TNT Innight was able to win the previous national bidding. This confirmed again the longstanding cooperation in the After Sales Service segment. “We have been cooperating with Jungheinrich for about 15 years in the After Sales Service segment, and were able to grow together in Austria, as well as in Germany and other countries“, Thomas Bauer, Country General Manager TNT Innight Austria, describes the initial situation. TNT Innight has been organising distribution of spare parts for industrial trucks as well as the returns management on behalf of Jungheinrich in Europe since the mid-1990ies. The service technicians order urgently needed spare parts before late-afternoon. They are delivered the following night before 7 am. (optionally before 6 am.) directly to the trunk of the vehicles. “This service enables our technicians to directly drive to the customers in the morning, without having to worry about the organisation of the spare parts“, explains Bauer. “This gains time, which is an important competitive advantage for us, as it permits us to respond even quicker and more effective to our customers’ requirements“, adds Andreas Ausweger, Head of Jungheinrich’s technological customer service. TNT Innight Austria has 45 employees and handles more than 600,000 consignments per year. The European network of the TNT Innight group covers the national companies in Germany, Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. With this network the enterprise collects the customers’ consignments in the late afternoon and delivers them in 26 European countries before work starts the next day.
