Kerry Logistics acquires majority of ADCO Shipping and Forwarding

Sea freight specialist from Rotterdam ADCO Shipping and Forwarding consolidates position of Kerry Logistics in Northern Europe

 

Buying the majority shareholding in the Dutch forwarding company ADCO Shipping and Forwarding BV, the China specialist Kerry Logistics (Hong Kong) reinforces its market presence in Europe. The enterprise expects this step to have positive effects regarding the positioning in Northern Europe and to improve their negotiating position towards the container shipping companies operating on the routes between Asia and the European continent.

ADCO Shipping and Forwarding was established in 1983. The enterprise headquartered in Rotterdam counts among the leading providers of sea freight forwarding services. In addition to full range solutions for importations and exportations (including „de-consolidation“ and „outbound container loading“) warehousing and distribution services are benchmarks in the range of services.
