Optimised Austrian production concept with TFG Transfracht

TFG Transfracht will operate daily departures from Vienna, Enns and Salzburg and adjusts its prices by around 5 per cent

Being active in hinterland traffic with German seaports, TFG Transfracht will shortly improve its service offering in traffic with Austria. From 13 December the enterprise will have on its schedule daily departures from the Austrian terminals Vienna, Enns and Salzburg to all loading stations of the seaports Hamburg and Bremerhaven.

“The optimised production concept consists of ten rotations in total to Hamburg and Bremerhaven and two shuttle trains to Bremerhaven. More departures are in the pipeline. Increasing the capacity per train and establishing a central control station, these transportations are considerably improved“, a press release of the company reports.

Prices will be adjusted with the change of the year. “Our customers expect quality and service, which has its price. We aim at a long term approach and hope for a stronger customer loyalty“, Managing Director Gerhard Oswald comments. “No operator will be spared by increasing costs for transport means, energy and staff. We pass these burdens to a suitable extent to our customers, which will lead to a price increase of five per cent on average,” he adds. Prices in the depot segment will remain stable until further notice.
