Kerry Logistics opens another hub in Vietnam

New Kerry Logistics facility in Central Vietnam starts operating

Opening the first segment of the terminal in Danang in Central Vietnam, Kerry Logistics Group enhances their commitment in Southeastern Asia. After completion in the second half of 2010, the new building will offer around 9,000 sq. m. of hall area. More locations of the company group in Vietnam are situated in Ho Chi Minh City (62,500 sq. m. warehousing area) and Hanoi (10,300 sq. m.).

Kerry Logistics has been represented in Vietnam with an own national company since 2006. A special feature of the portfolio is the cross-border network for road transportations. The system named Kerry Asia Road Transport (KART) links Vietnam to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos and Cambodia. There are connections to destinations all over China via the hub in Kunming.

With more than 10,000 employees in 24 countries, Kerry Logistics is – according to their own account – a leading provider of transport and logistics services in Asia. They are operating with 5,600 vehicles. The total capacity for services in the field of warehousing is indicated with 1.7 million square metres.
