Kewill GmbH expands its network in Europe
Cooperation with partners in Poland, Italy and Portugal strengthens customs software appliances of Kewill
The provider of customs handling and logistics solutions Kewill GmbH expands its European network of experts by adding new partnerships. They started cooperating with the companies Moredata in Portugal, Aco Informatica in Italy and SKG in Poland. The connection of their national customs software appliances to the global messaging gateway Kewill CustomsXchange enables the companies to directly exchange information with customs clearance authorities and legislative authorities in the various countries. Two of the new partners are also member of EurTradeNet (ETN), a cooperative of the leading certified customs service providers in Europe. The Kewill network previously included Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, U.S. and Singapore. Kewill CustomsXchange is a fully integrated solution for global customs handling. It enables logistics service providers and producers, who manage customs declarations in several countries and have to meet the customs regulations such as EMCS and ICS electronically, to handle goods simply and cost effective across the border. Kewill CustomsXchange functions as a messaging gateway, where customs information can be entered and displayed independently from the final destination and always in the same format via one single point. The software applications of the individual partners were designed and developed by teams of national experts with regard to country-specific customs requirements. These customs applications are now connected across borders via Kewill CustomsXchange.
