Knoll group: New equipment for the 80th anniversary
Knoll group from Grödig, Salzburg, offers comprehensive services to handle heavy and special transportations
For its 80th anniversary, the Knoll group is modernising its fleet. After careful consideration managing director Erich Knoll decided to acquire one 8-axle low-loader with flatbed bridge and several low-loaders. The relevant orders have been signed. The special trailers will be taken over shortly. The company is currently operating 11 trucks and 20 trailers for heavy and special transportations, as well as four truck cranes.
The Knoll group headquartered in Grödig, Salzburg, includes the Knoll Internationale Transporte GmbH, Knoll Kranverleih GmbH and Schwerlast Logistik GmbH, with a staff of 18 persons in total. Together these companies provide all services relating to the physical handling of oversized and overweight shipments. This includes transportations by truck, on the railway, river and seagoing vessels, as well as organising all required special permissions, transhipment of machines using the company-owned truck cranes, interim storage, route inspections and assembly.
