Saperion’s solution for Schenker wins award

Schenker Austria wins ‚2012 ECM Award’ with Saperion’s IT solution
 
Schenker & Co AG has been using solutions from Berlin-based Saperion AG for digital processing and archiving of documentation since March 2011. Their Saperion solution was installed by Artaker Computersysteme GmbH (Vienna). It recently won the Pentadoc "2012 ECM Award" and received first place in the "Efficiency" category.
 
The Pentadoc "ECM Award" is an award for projects in the field of Enterprise Content Management in Austria. The Schenker project was chosen because the investments have paid for themselves within a period of 12 months. Engineer Radim Chval, Schenker Project Manager says: "Using Saperion has significantly improved our productivity and will save us 23 metric tons of paper each year." Each day the system processes approximately 3,000 documents and 2,000 invoices. After 12 months in service, the electronic archive contains more than 600,000 documents.
 
Apart from digitising and archiving documents the solution provides also an Electronic Dispatch Record, comprising all outbound and inbound documents as well as internal documents like photographs, electronic certificates, and associated data from the SAP system.
