BLG to establish picking warehouse for engelbert strauss

BLG Handelslogistik addresses first tasks of its new customer engelbert strauss and implements a new warehouse site in Frankfurt
 
Thanks to a future and customer oriented concept BLG Handelslogistik was able to win the new customer engelbert strauss, a German mail order and retail company selling protective and working clothes. Since January 2013 BLG handles the provision storage of import goods at the site in Frankfurt am Main for engelbert strauss. In total four automated high rack and tabular storage blocks ensure supply according to demand of the customer’s own picking warehouse in Biebergemünd. In the fourth quarter of the year 2013 BLG will establish an additional picking warehouse at the site in Frankfurt, to support engelbert strauss with handling the increasing shipping volumes.

In Frankfurt a highly flexible 15,000 m² picking warehouse will be built with areas for packing and shipping.
