Kubicargo Spedition files for insolvency

Collapse in earnings forces Viennese forwarding company Kubicargo into its knees

 

On 22 March 2011 the bankruptcy proceedings about the assets and liabilities of the Kubicargo Speditions GmbH, based in Vienna’s 20th district, were opened at the commercial court Handelsgericht Wien. According to current information this case affects around 100 creditors. Lawyer Dr. Maximilian Schludermann was appointed as the liquidator. The deadline for claims is 10 May 2011. The first hearing is scheduled for 24 May 2011.

Established in 1974, the forwarding enterprise employed 8 persons. The indebted company attributes its inability to pay mainly to difficulties in business relations with forwarding partners in Germany and the UK, which led to a collapse in earnings. According to the companies file for insolvency liabilities amount to EUR 700.000. Business operations of the enterprise will not be continued.
