Chamberlain, manufacturer of door and gate drivesto receive comprehensive transport and logistics support from Kuehne + Nagel
Kuehne + Nagel is to provide comprehensive integrated logistics services and international transport services on behalf of Chamberlain, an enterprise specialising in the manufacturing of door and gate drives.
In addition to air freight, sea freight and land transport Kuehne + Nagel will be in charge of customs handling, transhipment and handling of all incoming shipments in Europe, as well as quality control. Also warehousing for all products – ranging from small items to palletised and oversized goods – and the order management of outgoing shipments are included in the offer.
Moverover Kuehne + Nagel offers picking, inventory management and implements customised transhipment and distribution solutions for individual shipments. They established a designated shuttle between the headquarters of Chamberlain in Saarwellingen, Germany, and Kuehne + Nagel’s logistics facilities in Luxembourg.
