Lagermax plans „rapid growth“ in Romania

Lagermax Spedition continues expanding in Southeastern Europe and has a new logistics concept for motor bicycles

For the Salzburg-based transport and logistics group Lagermax expansion in Southeastern Europe is still a key issue. “Rapid growth in Romania is our absolute goal“, the management says. Six locations and the widely ranged service portfolio in the segments forwarding, vehicle logistics and express is a proof of that. This is combined with daily direct services from Salzburg to the international hubs in Arad and Bucharest as well as direct transport services from Germany, Holland, France and Switzerland.

„Our structures and know how that we gained in Eastern Europe enable us to look further eastwards to Asia", says Herbert Weber, managing director of Lagermax Internationale Spedition GmbH. ”Lagermax AED Romania shortly also received the internationally applicable ISO 9001 quality and 14001 environment certificate.“

Under the name „Lagermax Motorride“ the enterprise has a specific logistics product for motor bicycles quads, ATVs, scooters, mopeds and bicycles in its program since recently. The service concept therefore is based on special equipment for distribution and longstanding experience in warehousing on behalf of reputable business partners. Manufacturers and importers are provided with tailored solutions based on particular frames and different performance segments (Premium or Classic).

The Lagermax corporate group headquartered in Salzburg operates 41 locations in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia. In 2009 2,273 employees generated a total revenue of EUR 273 million.
