Large-scale investment of JCL Logistics in Styria

JCL Logistics constructs special class logistics centre in Werndorf for EUR 18.5 million

 

The JCL Logistics group launches a new large-scale project these days. The private enterprise invests EUR 18.5 million into a state-of-the-art logistics centre in Werndorf near Graz. After finish the facility will provide a total area of 45,000 m² with capacities for the storage of 10,000 pallets, around 15,000 boxes and 2 million parts. The Styrian intralogistics specialist Knapp provides technology for automatic sorting and order picking of up to 60 million parts per year.

JCL Logistics with its headquarters at the Cargo Center Graz (Werndorf) operates activities in the fields of Sea+Air Logistics, Overland Solutions, Fashion Logistics, Furniture Logistics, mySOLUTION and eCommerce at more than 60 locations in 25 countries. Around 1,600 employees generated an annual turnover of more than EUR 550 million. The family owns exactly 51 per cent of the company shares.
