Lebert forwarding enterprise buys logistics property in Ravensburg

Third location in Oberschwaben is the basis of Spedition Lebert’s continued growth and centralisation of logistics processes

 

Lebert & Co. GmbH in Baienfurt is to take over the logistics centre of the former General Solar company in the industrial zone Mariatal, Ravensburg, effective 1 July 2011. A 7,300 m² plot provides space for 4,000 m² storage area and 740 m² office area to be built. In a first step 20 new jobs shall be created.

The acquisition is a strategically important step for the enterprise, and the third location in Oberschwaben next to Baienfurt and Gaisbeuren (Bad Waldsee). “The new area allows us to reposition ourselves and centralise our logistics at one place“, the management announces.

Established in 1954, Franz Lebert & Co. Internationale Spedition presents itself as a pro-active full service provider for transport and logistics. More than 400 employees at five locations in Germany and Switzerland attend to customers from various industrial sectors. The industry focus lies on used and consumer goods, food, automotive, electronic and mechanical engineering.
