Lehnkering Chemical Transport expands its management team to set new accents in chemical transport business
The logistics services provider Lehnkering (Duisburg) is continuing to expand its commitment to the chemical logistics sector. Following strong growth during the past few years Lehnkering Chemical Transport (LCT), which is part of the Road Logistics & Services (RLS) company division, is aiming to continue developing chemical transports.
The growth levels in the LCT business are also being reflected in a new management structure: Steffen Bauer is joining the management team with immediate effect together with Hans van den Bosch. Bauer will be responsible for the strategic development of Lehnkering Chemical Transport in his position as managing director operations, while Hans van den Bosch will be holding the position as managing director commercials.
“This expansion of the management team became necessary because of the size that the company has now reached. The broader management base enables us to continue expanding our business activities in chemical logistics and exploit the growth opportunities to the best possible degree,” says Uwe Willhaus, COO at Lehnkering Holding GmbH.
Lehnkering Chemical Transport offers its customers tailor-made logistics solutions for specific liquid chemical products, and specialises in shipping hazardous goods in tankers across Europe.
