800 „Trash People“ of the action artist HA Schult travel to Spitzbergen in 16 containers with LSi

Specialising in project logistics and high quality express services the LSi enterprise transports the artwork “Trash People“ of the action artist HA Schult from Cologne to Spitzbergen (Norway). The 800 life-size sculptures made from waste were stuffed in sixteen 20 ft containers provided by LSi. At the end of October the last four containers started their journey from the container terminal in Cologne via Lübeck, Malmö, Oslo to Bodø, the capital of the province Nordland in the north of Norway. This is where the containers were reloaded to the freight vessel Norbjørn on 10 November, and shipped to Longyearbyen, the main island of the archipelago Spitzbergen. The return transport is planned for Mai 2011.
