Logwin looses COO for the business segment Air + Ocean

Helmut Kaspers terminates at his own request his engagement with Logwin’s business segment Air + Ocean and enters a ‘Sabbatical’

Logwin AG looses an established top manager. Helmut Kaspers, Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Operating Officer for the business segment Air + Ocean of Logwin AG at his own request has decided to terminate his engagement with the company as of 29 February 2012. “The Board of Directors and Executive Committee regret his decision, respect his desire for a ‘Sabbatical’ and thank him for his successful service and wish him all the best and continuing success for the future,” Berndt-Michael Winter, Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Logwin AG, said in a stetement.

Helmut Kaspers joined the Logwin Group in 2006 as a Member of the Executive Board of what was then Birkart Globistics Management GmbH. In 2007 he was appointed as a Member of the Executive Committee of Logwin AG and took on responsibilities as COO for the business segment Air + Ocean. Under his management Logwin’s intercontinental activities experienced further dynamic development, with the enterprise evolving into a leading medium-sized logistics service provider.
