Logwin Road + Rail investigates further strategic options in Austria
The future is still uncertain for remaining Logwin Road + Rail locations in Austria After the sale of the Austrian network to Augustin Network GmbH, the Logwin Road + Rail Management is now investigating in the course of the reorientation several strategic options for the remaining locations in Austria. “This is to be done in close consultation with the local management, taking people, culture and the strengths of the organisations into consideration. Each of the versions we have an eye on is aimed to secure the usual range of services at the locations and thus the reliability of relations with customers, suppliers and partners in the future as well“, Logwin Road + Rail Austria GmbH writes in a letter to their customers. The sale of the Austrian Logwin Road + Rail network to Augustin Network excluded the locations in Wolfurt, Feldkirch-Tosters and Krems/Danube as well as the location in Bremen. For the time being they form the core of Logwin Road + Rail Austria GmbH. Moreover Logwin Road + Rail Switzerland AG as well as Logwin Road + Rail Hungary Kft. in Budapest will remain unchanged. The segments that were sold and the locations that still belong to Logwin have reached some cooperation agreements. According to Wolfgang Tomaschett and Gerhard Gau these secure Logwin Road + Rail Austria’s continued service provision within the network and the attendance to the customers’ interests.
