LOT’s ‚Dreamliner’ to call Vienna

LOT Polish Airlines to operate a Boeing 787 (‚Dreamliner’) on the Vienna-route from the change of the year
 
LOT Polish Airlines’ ‚Dreamliner’ is to start its tour through Central Europe shortly. The airline is to operate its new flagship in traffic with Austria between mid-December 2012 and mid-January 2013. In total the wide-body aircraft is operated on nine flights plus return flights between Warsaw and Vienna. From 16 January the Boeing 787-‚Dreamliners’ will be used on the LOT-flights to Chicago, later on they will also be used to call New York, Toronto and Beijing. The Polish member of the Star Alliance is the first to operate this type of aircraft in Europe.
 
The ‚Dreamliner’ will be used on the route between Warsaw and Vienna on 17 December (LO223/224), 21/22/23 December (each LO225/226), 24/27 December (each LO223/224), on 29/30 December (each LO225/226) and on 13 January (LO223/224). A major part of the flights from/to Austria will be operated with the jet in the course of the regular rotations. Some scattered flight times may deviate from the usual schedule.
 
LOT Polish Airlines was established in 1929 and counts among the most traditional airlines. The current route network covers more than 50 destinations in Europe, the Near and Middle East, Asia and North America. As to Austria the airline operates scheduled flights from Vienna to Krakow and Warsaw and return flights.
