Gefco starts daily groupage lines from Graz to France

Gefco Österreich provides access to an extensive distribution network in France to industrial enterprises from all sectors
 
In completion to part and full load services to France, for which there is a great demand by industrial customers, Gefco Österreich now offers also daily groupage lines from Graz to France. The rotations from Graz have stopovers in Linz and the Gefco depot in Mühlhausen. At the destination the enterprise operates a central hub with a total are of 23,000 m². From Mühlhausen the shipments are forwarded overnight to various destinations in France.
 
With these additional services Gefco Österreich responds to the growing demand for departures between these two countries. “There is an interesting volume of importations and exportations between Austria and France“, says Thomas Ziegler, Managing Director Gefco Österreich. “Gefco has a land transport network based on 44 stations in France, which enables us to provide gapless delivery within 24 to 72 hours throughout France and plan and control door-to-door concepts for industrial enterprises from all sectors.“
 
Land transport, accounting for 60 per cent of the annual turnover, is the biggest division of Gefco Österreich. The enterprise has four operative locations in Vienna, Gleisdorf, St. Valentin and Spillern, from where the transportations are coordinated and managed.
