LOXX Group creates space for further expansion

Acquisition of additional areas in Gelsenkirchen provides new opportunities in the segment of value added services/warehousing logistics to LOXX Group:

The LOXX Group is preparing to prolong its course of expansion. At the beginning of September the parent company of the logistics service provider purchased a 20,000 m² land plot. The area is located directly next to the current headquarters of LOXX in Gelsenkirchen. There the enterprise has 243 employees who operate on more than 10,000 m² warehousing area, equipped with 66 loading gates, used almost exclusively for general cargo logistics.

LOXX intends to construct customised buildings on the new plot for one or two customers from the sector value added services/warehousing logistics. First negotiations about this issue are scheduled for the last quarter of 2011. Alexander Brockt, Managing Director LOXX Holding, considers the geographical, direct link to the dense European network for general cargo as a particular advantage.

LOXX has been acting as a service provider in the sector forwarding and logistics for more than 30 years. More than 300 employees and seven companies in six European economic centres provide customers with service concepts in procurement and distribution logistics, load and general cargo transport as well as rail logistics. Moreover they operate activities in heavy and over size transport and are committed to the complete segment of contract and action logistics.
