As a medium sized company specialising on serving enterprises from the paper and corrugated cardboard industry, the forwarding company Lugstein Spedition und Transport GmbH cuts a fine figure. “This year we are striving to achieve a turnover at EUR 16 million with 150 employees at locations in Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Services for the paper and corrugated cardboard industry account for about 60 per cent of this figure“, says Managing Director Roland Czech in the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.
Lugstein Logistik based in Strasswalchen, Salzburg, defines itself via its services. The private enterprise offers solutions in the sectors transport, forwarding, warehousing and packing. The family enterprise was established in 1950. Managing Director Roland Czech recognises a trend of many customers towards using less railway services for transport.
