Medlog provides more space in St. Poelten
New medical logistics centre of the Medlog company shall be ready to start in autumn 2011
Medlog Medizinische Logistik und Service GmbH is about to handle a new major order. In response to the positive business development in the past years, these days construction starts of a new medical logistics centre with around 500 m² warehousing area in St. Pölten. “We implement this object together with a partner from the laboratory diagnostics branch. The facility shall be completed by autumn 2011“, Managing Director Mag. Franz Holler explains in the interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. The investment totals to around EUR 3.5 million. The Medlog brand stands for the leading service provider of collection and transport of medical specimen in Austria. In the current year the private enterprise transports about 2.8 million samples for the human domain, opposed to around 900,000 units for the veterinary field. Further benchmarks of the service portfolio are courier service (national/international) as well as the production and trade of special packaging for the dispatch of diagnostic specimen. The annual turnover 2009 amounting to EUR 2 million was generated by 11 permanent employees and around 70 sub freighters. Quelle: LogEastics |
