Müller – Die lila Logistik AG defines more branch focus areas

Passable business year 2009 for Müller – Die lila Logistik AG despite reduced consulting activities

The management board of the company group Müller – Die lila Logistik AG expects a moderate growth in turnover for the year 2010. Emphasising on continued uncertainities and unclear trends in the logistics market, CEO Michael Müller gives an outlook to sales revenues between EUR 80 and 85 million. “Costs arising in context of possible new projects will affect the operating result negatively. On the medium term the group follows a path of positive development, which will lead to an increased result on condition of a sustainable overall economic recovery and achieving the level previous to the crisis“, he prognosticates.

In order to generate more growth, the enterprise based in Besigheim in Baden-Württemberg (Germany) focusses on more market segments. In addition to customers from the automotive, consumer goods, electronics and industrial goods segment, clients from the sectors energy as well as medical&pharma shall be offered a customised attendance, Michael Müller announces.

In the 2009 fiscal period the turnover of Müller – Die lila Logistik AG decreased 10.5 per cent to EUR 79.4 million compared to the previous year. The operating result was almost stable with EUR 4.35 million. The group’s consolidated profit amounted to EUR 2.12 million after EUR 3.87 million in the year 2008.

Müller – Die lila Logistik AG provides services (consulting and implementation) in the procurement, production and distribution logistics sector. About 1,000 employees are working at 10 German and 6 international locations (Belgium, Austria, Slovakia and Poland).
